📝 The Challenge:
High school leavers and unemployed graduates in underserved communities in Abuja struggled with low self-awareness, poor interview skills, and digital illiteracy. CMYDI needed a short but powerful intervention.
🎯 Our Solution:
We launched a 2-week Future Ready Bootcamp covering:
- Emotional intelligence development
- Digital literacy & personal branding
- Financial literacybasics
- Roleplay interviews with HR experts
- Introduction to the Beryl mentorship clubs
Participants were grouped into mentor circles for ongoing support.
🌟 The Results:
- 152 youth trained(83 female, 69 male)
- 75%created CVs and LinkedIn profiles during the training
- 21 gained internships or jobswithin 3 months
- 4 alumni later became GAL Mentors in their communities
